Intern, Communications

Conservation International (CI) has been protecting nature for the benefit of all for over 30 years. Through science, policy, and partnerships, CI is helping build a healthier, more prosperous and more productive planet. 


This internship provides an opportunity for the right candidate to create a suite of materials that will showcase our conservation work in the field and gain first-hand experience of the work of an international non-profit organization. Ideally the intern will have a design background.

Working in close collaboration with the Communications Manager, the intern will write, proof read, layout, design and fact check communications materials around the region. The intern will also assist in the organization and documentation of materials and publications.


  • Work with the Communications Manager to produce key communications materials and showcase Asia-Pacific’s field programs on a regional and local level.
  • Organize and collate staff publications within the region.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.



  • Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing or Design fields.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent command of written and oral English.
  • Knowledge in using Microsoft Office and Adobe (InDesign and Photoshop) software.


  • Knowledge of environmental science.
  • Efficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Premier Pro.


  • This position is based in Singapore.
  • It is a full-time fixed term position.
  • Start date: Immediate.
