LCSW Mobile Therapist for South Jersey

Description

Experienced LCSW Mobile Therapists 

are needed to join our Child Mental Health Program 

As a  per diem Mobile Therapis t you will enjoy the flexibility of creating and working your own schedule while making a difference in the lives of the families we support.  Our  Mobile Therapists  provide in-home individual and family therapy across Southern New Jersey. The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, responsible, creative, and engaging. 

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Formation of treatment goals and individual service plans
  • Provide therapeutic activities
  • Provide educational support with the guardians and the individual 
  • Participate in team treatment planning including attending ISP meetings and keeping contact with referral sources. 

Requirements:

  • Current NJ LCSW license required
  • Must have at least 3-5 years experience working with children or adolescents with mental health challenges preferred 
  • Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to utilize and complete forms for patient care and/or payer specific tools when applicable
  • Adequate computer skills and ability to document using an electronic database
  • Must be able to provide therapeutic services with minimal direct supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the client, family and referral source
  • IMDS Needs Assessment Certification preferred

New Behavioral Network  is dedicated to providing services that offer a multi-disciplinary approach to in-home therapy, utilizing best-practice strategies that have a positive impact on our clients and their families. Our behavioral therapy Champions are the keystones of our superior therapy and patient’s progress with their compassionate approach and sensitivity to client needs.

The  Child Mental Health Program  focuses on children ages 4-21 who have behavioral challenges. We have a family centered focus to deploy therapeutic interventions and skills training in the natural setting which helps to overcome these challenges and build each client’s strengths in an effort to maximize personal potential.
