New Behavioral Network Delaware, a division of The NBN Group, seeks a Master’s level clinician to join our dynamic team. Our program is evolving rapidly, and is focused on offering quality strengths-based clinical services, while securing evidence-based therapy training for our clinicians.

New Behavioral Network is dedicated to providing services that offer a muliti-disciplinary approach to in-home therapy, utilizing best-practice strategies that have a positive impact on our clients and their families. Our behavioral therapy Champions are the keystones of our superior therapy and patient's progress with their compassionate approach and sensitivity to client's needs.

Some responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide detailed client assessments, summaries, goals, treatment and all relating information regarding the client according to agency policies.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Provide a variety of psycho-educational modalities with clients.
  • Participate in supervisions, team meetings, training and professional development conferences/ seminars.

Specifically, the role of the Mobile Therapist is to provide community based therapy to children, adolescents and their families which encourages and facilitates positive change within the home, school and community at large.  The ultimate goal is for clients to remain in the community with less intensive services. We are seeking someone with a strong desire and commitment to work with children and families faced with complex mental health issues and social circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in social work, marriage and family counseling, or mental health counseling
  • Doctorate Degree in psychology or psychiatry
  • At least one year of experience in managing and dealing with emotionally disturbed adolescents or children. 
  • Must have experience working with trauma survivors
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients, IOP team and Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services, Division of Family Services, and Case Managers
  • Current driver's license with acceptable driving record as defined by agency policy.
  • Must have reliable transportation with current insurance for patient transport purposes.

Candidate needs to be able to work flexible hours during the week and weekend with early evening availability.
