Description

Clinical Supervisor

LCSW

As a Clinical Supervisor you will provide supervision and clinical oversight to community based clinical staff and graduate level interns throughout the state of Delaware, via a variety of delivery methods, as well as direct clinical services as assigned

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide clinical supervision to masters level mental health therapists working with at risk youth and families enrolled with Delaware Prevention Behavioral Health Services
  • Review supervisees’s documentation, correct errors, and educate them about required documentation
  • Participate in case reviews
  • Conduct and/or assist in supervisee's performance reviews
  • Provide and participate in training and consultations as necessary
  • Provide on call duties for emergency consultation/intervention to clients and therapists on a rotating basis after hours
  • Provide individual, group, family, and couples counseling (may be required to maintain a caseload)

Education:

  • Master’s degree with licensure as a social worker (LCSW) in the state of Delaware

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Two years experience working with high risk populations
  • Experience working with trauma survivors
  • Ability to sign off on clinical hours
  • Knowledge of evidence based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Skill in complex clinical assessment and diagnosis
