Clinical Analyst - Homecare

Description

Newborn Nurses, a Division of the NBN Group is currrently looking for a Clinical Analyst to work with our growing Acute Care and Private Duty departments.  As a Clinical Analyst, you will be and advocate for chronically ill children and will be responsible for writing Letters of Medical Necessity, tracking authorizations, assisting with appeal letters for services and care.  If you are an analytical problem solver who thrives in a fast paced environment, likes to multi-task and wants the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients, this is the job for you!

Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to some of the following :
  • Takes new intake referrals for our Private Duty patients and develops initial treatment plans and updates them.

  • Submits for initial and re-authorizations for new and existing patients.

  • Create and implement policies for QA

  • Acts as a liaison between families, insurance companies and physicians.

Requirements:
  • Must be a a licensed RN in the state of New Jersey
  • Must have experience in pediatrics
  • Previous home care experience a plus
  • Excellent computer skills and be able to navigate windows based and in house database effectively
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are essential
