Homecare Administrator

Description

Newborn Nurses, a divison of the NBN Group, is currently looking for a Homecare Administator to start a certified home healthcare agency in our Newport, Delaware office.  As the Homecare Administrator you will be respsonsible for the preparation, negotiation and approval of contracts, maintaining compliance to federal, state, and local laws and regulations, developing policies and procedures on patient care in collaboration with the corporate office, participate in strategic planning, assist with recruitment and onboarding process of nursing staff, participate in quality improvement activities

Requirements:

  • Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse / RN in the state of Delaware
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but will consider experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience, with at least 3 years of home healthcare required
  • Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of local market and experience and comfort with the sales process
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations, as well as Medicare regulations for home healthcare
