Junior Accountant

The NBN Group is seeking a full-time Junior Accountant  to join our team in our Cherry Hill, NJ office. The Junior Account will provide support to the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have strong computer and math skills along with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Some responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Review, approve and post journal entries
  • Research and analyze unusual transactions or amounts
  • Ensure month end assigned tasks are complete and assist in account reconciliations and financial closing process
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivables
  • Create and manage vendor files within our accounting software
  • Process weekly payroll
  • Analyze 3rd party claims
  • Work on various projects as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2-4 years of work experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Word and Excel, knowledge of Peachtree helpful
  • Strong work ethic with flexibility, especially during important deadlines
  • Attention to detail along with strong problem solving skills
