Dishwasher- Rochester Brew House

This position ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility. 



  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
  • Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
  • Maintain working area safe and clean; sweep/mop as needed
  • Maintain kitchen floors clean and dry ensuring timely wipe up and clean-up of any spills
  • Must notify Manager anytime dish machine wash or rinse falls below safety standard temperatures

Working Conditions

  • Moderate noise level
  • Exposure to knives and sharp objects
  • Exposure to open flames and hot surfaces
  • Exposure to moderate heat
  • Standing for long periods of time on concrete floors
  • Frequent bending and lifting weight up to sixty pounds
  • Fast paced physical environment
  • Climbing stairs on an occasional basis
  • Lift and empty trashcans weighing up to 150 lbs., with assistance up to two times per shift. 
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching and lifting
  • Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts, burns, slipping and tripping
