Line Cook - Rochester Brew House
As a line cook, you will strive to exceed our guests’ expectations and ensure their complete satisfaction. You will prep food items and stock for one station on the front cooking line. You will prepare food during service in a correct and efficient manner while keeping the station clean and orderly.
You will be required to maintain proper food handling and safety procedures for all products in the station through preparation, production, and plating of menu items. You will coordinate selling of single out tickets from the station. You will need thorough recipe and procedure knowledge for all items produced from the station. You will be responsible for prepping and stocking all needed product and supplies, as well as breaking down, reducing and cleaning the station at the end of the shift. You will maintain and clean the station before, during and after the shift. You will need to assist other line stations and help with prep as needed, in addition to performing cleaning projects, garbage and recycling procedures.
You will be exposed to moderate noise levels, cleaning chemicals, knives, sharp objects, open flames, hot surfaces and moderate heat (air temperature). You will be required to stand for long periods of time on concrete floors, frequently bend and lift weight up to sixty pounds, climb stairs on an occasional basis, and frequently stretch and reach. You will be working in a fast paced physical environment.
Candidates should be willing & able to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.
