The IT Department at Resources for the Future (RFF), an internationally recognized research institution that focuses on energy, environmental, and natural resource policy, is currently seeking a creative, organized, and energetic problem solver to join its team as a Network Analyst Intern.


The intern will work closely with the IT manager and network admin on a variety of projects related to network and server infrastructure, and may work with other members of the IT team on various projects.  This is an outstanding opportunity for a young professional looking to gain experience and build a portfolio.


Job Description
Three months paid internship in IT department working on network and server infrastructure. The primary task is working on projects as assigned by the IT manager and network admin. This includes evaluating hardware and software, assist in troubleshooting network and server related issues, and in documenting infrastructure and processes.

Required Skills
1. Familiarity with Windows Server OS.

2. Understanding of networking concepts, and related hardware and software components.
3. A strong desire to learn and to overcoming challenging problems in technology.



1. Enrolled in an IT-based field like Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
2. Completed IT related projects in school or work.


RFF is located near Dupont Circle at 1616 P Street NW, DC. RFF does not pay transportation or parking costs.
