The Home Health Regional Rehab Manager guides and manages the overall provision of therapy services provided by the Agency. This position is responsible for the recruitment, hiring, orientation and provision of ongoing training of therapy staff. The Regional Director of Rehab works cooperatively with the operations team to assure quality patient care with fiscal responsibility. Additionally, this position assures proper utilization of therapy services and participates in the growth and development.

The Regional Director will:
* Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation, retention and supervision of all Agency therapists.
* Work cooperatively with Agency management to ensure productivity goals are achieved.
* Provide education on Agency specialty programs and guidelines, and other therapy related topics.
* Responsible for review and interpretation of management reports including follow-up and incorporation of action plans as appropriate.
* Work cooperatively with marketing team to promote Agency growth and development through education of specialty programs.
* Responsible for assuring competencies of therapy services provided by new and existing employees and/or contractors.
* Participate in fiscal oversight of therapy services
* Responsible for Agency therapy services quality assurance
* Develop and implement contracts for independent contractors and contract groups.
* Responsible for client service satisfaction
* Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) activities as requested
* Participate and conduct with Branch Manager/Director all 90 day and annual performance evaluations of therapists
* Perform quarterly chart audits
* Review and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of Company policies, procedures and practices.
* Participate in Agency case conferences and monthly management meetings
* Comply with HIPAA privacy regulations and maintains confidentiality at all times
* Perform visits as dictated by the Agency’s needs

Job Requirements

* Required, above average oral and written communication skills to engage with staff/supervisors/physicians and patients
* Required, ability to lead and develop therapy staff members
* Required, performs under stress and exercise self control
* Required, ability to serve as a successful participant on the Agency management team that provides company leadership and direction
* Required, valid drivers license and current auto liability insurance
* Required, adequate and reliable means of transportation to facilitate job duties
* Required, free from Medicare Sanctions
* Required, evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality
* Required, excellent organizational skills
* Required, exercise sound and professional judgment at all times
* Required, working knowledge of computer systems and applications
* Required, computer, internet access and email capabilities from home or other off-site location

Required, licensed PT or OT

Training and Experience
Required, current CPR certification
Preferred, 12 months minimum experience as a PT or OT with home health experience
Preferred, previous supervisory experience
