CIPFI (Conservation International Philippines Foundation, Inc. is looking for an Operations Director (OD) to oversee financial, human resources, donor and grants management, and administrative functions of CI-Philippines Country Program. The OD will ensure management has the timely and relevant financial information needed to make informed decisions.   S/he will ensure that operation functions are efficient and effective and will continually strive to improve efficiency, productivity and operational capacity.  The Operations Director will develop and implement guidelines and practices that align operations functions with the program’s business plans and CI’s overall conservation objectives.  S/he will be accountable for ensuring operational functions are in compliance with CI’s policies and procedures and local reporting and governance bodies.

 The OD will take the lead in budgeting and revenue forecasting efforts, provide support for fundraising proposals, and develop short- and long-term budgets, financial projections, and strategic plans. S/he will manage CI-Philippines program budget and will work with program leaders and HQ to implement audit findings.



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.  Some post graduate college work studies completed.
  • At least seven (7) years directly related work experience in an International nonprofit organization.
  • 2-3 years’ experience managing staffs.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively convey complex details or technical information.
  • Highly familiar with etiquette, protocol, and employing cultural awareness and sensitivity. 
  • Proven team player.
  • Highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to travel regularly to ensure management of projects and grants.
  • Able to work on extended hours, when needed.
