Position Description
Provides HR support in areas relating to employee relations, compensation/benefits administration, performance management, coaching/counseling, and employee development for a company conducting business in multiple states. Administers human resource programs such as Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action programs and Interprets applicable precedents, legislation, and regulations pertaining to the human resource function. Implement and administer employee policies. Provide high quality advice and service to management and employees on HR related matters. Support the HR Department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience. Prepares and analyzes reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of HR and ERT. Prepares HR reports for management.

Required Skills
5 - 7 years of experience working as an HR generalist. Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs, other Human Resources programs, and general knowledge of employment laws and practices is required. Must have technical and practical experience in HRIS database administration (ADP, Deltek, and/or Paylocity preferred). Must have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Windows environment, including Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping. Effective oral and written communication, excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, excellent organizational skills, and evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality, required. Federal contracting experience, preferred.

BS/BA in Human Resources, relevant discipline, or equivalent. PHR Certification Preferred.
