Provides direct services to beneficiaries both in Kodiak and assigned villages, facilitates coordination of care with other KANA providers, provides clinical supervision of Behavioral Health Aides in assigned villages.
Works as an integral part of the primary care team providing brief therapeutic interventions and quality clinical mental health consultation to providers and patients as requested by the medical providers.
Provides administrative support to the village clinic to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and referrals. Schedules appointments, arranges travel, maintains filing systems, coordinates health education and health promotion activities.
Provide clinical oversight/instruction to Community Health Aides (CHA/Ps) living and working in the village communities on Kodiak Island. Provide primary and emergent health services in KANA clinics in Kodiak and village communities, including on-call.
Administers KANA’s dental program and directs activities in accordance with accepted national standards and administrative policies. Independently provide dental and oral health care consistent with the highest recognized standards of dental care.
