At CoBank, our Human Resources Intern partners closely with the Recruiting team on a wide variety of projects and initiatives. This intern will have the opportunity to participate in full cycle recruitment efforts, which may include posting jobs, conducting sourcing, reviewing resumes and interviewing applicants. In addition, this intern will conduct an in-depth analysis of demographic and market data for each CoBank location to better align recruitment efforts and strategies. A typical project may include the creation, design and rollout of a CoBank student ambassador program. CoBank interns learn real-life business skills and assist with a variety of projects that have impact on the bank’s operations. This is a paid position for undergraduate and graduate students working toward a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Psychology or related discipline.
In addition, various training courses are available throughout the summer and a temporary housing allowance is available for qualified interns.
This intern position is located in our Denver office.
High school diploma and 1-2 years relevant experience or education.
Currently enrolled in and working toward a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Psychology or related discipline.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
Demonstrated skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Aptitude for learning other software applications.
Strong customer service aptitude.
Ability to perform research across multiple systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in banking or financial services industry.
Knowledge of cooperative principles and the desire to expand in this area.
