At CoBank, our Tax Accountant assists in maintaining the sales and property tax systems, and files returns. This position responds to customer inquiries, interacts with taxing authorities, and provides support to lease operations regarding sales and property tax compliance and lease documentation. The Tax Accountant prepares state and local sales tax and personal property tax returns, organizes, and processes assessments and bills. Maintain compliance processes, and compliance with related state laws, licenses and regulations is responsibility of this role.

Farm Credit Leasing (FCL) provides lease financing for a variety of equipment, machinery, implements and buildings used in the farming, agribusiness and rural utility industries, including emerging solar and wind energy projects. This position focuses on sales and property tax compliance for our leasing portfolio, and provides broad exposure to the diverse industries we serve.
