We are looking for a contract Product Manager who shares our passion for the customer – someone who understands the importance of compelling features and functionality in driving great customer experiences. The ideal candidate is technically savvy, enthusiastic about managing challenging projects across multiple teams, and will be comfortable marshalling large amounts of data to make decisions, and build business cases.

The Product Manager of Customer Experience will be working with the team to bring world-class experiences to global customers. More specifically, this position will require experience building and testing customer acquisition funnels across multiple platforms. Los Angeles based Outlook Amusements, Inc. is a fast-growing entertainment company with a worldwide customer base. Our in-house brand, California Psychics, is the premiere live psychic and astrology network and leading publisher of horoscope and astrological content. This role will report into the Director of Product Management and work closely with our technology team.

**This position is a 6 month contract**

What you will be responsible for:

  • Helping to define product vision and strategy of the project(s) that are assigned by:
    • Identifying, prioritizing and implementing technology-enabled improvement opportunities in his/her scope of responsibility; optimization of new customer acquisition and existing customer purchase funnels and other relevant projects
    • Researching and analyzing data pertaining to product initiatives
    • Providing strategic advice in relation to future product development initiatives
    • Working with key stakeholders to drive customizations and roll out features/products
    • Defining and implementing a roadmap of improvements that ensure leadership in service delivery which may include benchmarking competitive experiences
    • Understanding user behavior by testing such as A/B testing, multi-variant testing, and other methods which may include identifying and executing real world feedback from customers through interviews, surveys and other feedback modes
  • Working with technology to develop and execute ideas by:
    • Writing detailed technical product specifications and testing plans to create new functionality and features for our technologies, business processes, tools and/or systems
    • Manage the integrative UX/Design process with a third party from conceptualization to final approval
    • Identifying and track ongoing operational bugs and fixes for current systems through completion
    • Creating and maintain regular stakeholder and management reports to track progress against plan
    • Giving presentations and demos as needed
    • Working in an agile environment as product owner of assigned products

What you need to be successful:

  • 3-5+ years of product experience
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (both, spoken and written), and influencing skills, as well as an ability to navigate a complex and unstructured cross-functional environment
  • Bachelor’s degree; an MBA is strong preferred
  • Strong e-commerce acquisition and purchase funnel experience preferred
  • Experience across desktop and mobile responsive and mobile applications preferred
  • Experience with feedback loops preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to think both strategically, and tactically
  • Implementation orientation; demonstrated ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product requirements
  • Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value
