Primary Mission:  As the Key Account Manager for the Property Management Division you are a sales representative with extensive experience in end user sales positioning the Reliance portfolio of equipment and service offerings to the Property Management market.  You are responsible for driving net new customer placements as well as managing existing accounts by expanding our share of wallet.  As part of the Property Management sales team, this position reports directly into the Director of the program. 



Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet portfolio quota targets as provided by the business.

  • Manage your existing base of assigned customers and build relationships with end user customers at owner/property manager level and expand the portfolio of Reliance offerings within this base.

  • Make formal and informal presentations at customer meetings to garner support for the proposal of products and services.

  • Customize technical and financial solutions to meet end-use customer business requirements and secure new services and products.

  • Become the subject matter expert in the HVAC and DHW industry for your account base.

  • Provide frequent and accurate forecasts of sales activity, results for the month and quarter.

  • Develop annually sales strategies and plans for the expansion of business into the assigned territory.

  • Provide accurate and timely documentation required for successful booking/billing of new customer opportunities.

  • Maintain CRM information at each stage of the sales cycle.

  • Participate in industry and customer related trade show events communicating the Reliance Property Management Division’s differentiating message of service.

  • Provide information on customer needs, competitors, competitor products and marketplace conditions as requested. Keeps current on market business and product trends.

  • Work with Team Members collaboratively and cooperatively to achieve Division’s Sales Goals.

  • Work with Operations personnel to properly communicate hand-off details that will allow them to coordinate and manage the installation of equipment as per customer expectations and proposal.

  • Deliver a high level of customer service pre and post sales to existing accounts and new accounts and report changing trends to Senior Management.

  • Must have the ability to work with little direct supervision in the field, while at the same time demonstrating the ability to work well as a member of the sales team.

  • Other duties as required.


    Skills, Abilities and Experience:

  •  At least 5 years of business to business sales experience.
  • Solid computer skills required (MS Word, Excel, Windows , AutoCAD and PowerPoint)
  • A commitment to continued personal and professional growth is important.
  • Strong team orientation and driven to achieve sales and corporate goals.
