Description

The Contract Recruiter is a highly visible role that will work collaboratively with hiring teams throughout the organization especially as we enter into a headcount growth cycle. The person filling this position will work diligently to identify the best talent who will fit the Maxus culture and who will support the overall organizational goals.


The selected candidate will have proven experience in a corporate recruiting function that has required unique sourcing strategies as well as traditional recruiting techniques. This person must have the philosophy of finding the best candidates who will expand our business and enrich our employee culture while being motivated by running an efficient search that involves regular communication with candidates and hiring teams.


General Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle recruitment to include: job description development, job posting, sourcing, interviewing, reference checks and offer negotiation
  • Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to quickly assess business needs, determine candidate profile and launch a thorough hiring strategy
  • Use a variety of recruiting tools and techniques to build an effective pipeline of candidates, which may include traditional job posting to common and niche sites, proactively sourcing, continuous networking and other proven methods
  • Conduct regular activity assessments in order to proactively engage in discussions with hiring managers, to shift recruiting efforts, adjust requirements, and the like
  • Create and maintain effective candidate relation strategies
  • Work closely with HR director to develop corporate recruiting strategy
  • Perform other HR-related activities as needed in support of overall HR strategy

Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably at a media or advertising agency
  • Experience with utilizing social media as a recruiting source
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Solid relationship management
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills – ability to handle discussions with tact and diplomacy
  • Bachelor’s Degree
