EXPERIENCE: Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Engineer or equivalent.
DESCRIPTION: Develop enhancements to company’s products including web services, application functionality, data management framework and tools. Work closely with product managers, customers, QA, Release, UI and Cross-Product Engineering Teams. Write and review high quality code, complete with solid unit tests, in a collaborative and team oriented environment. Help to estimate size, scope and complexity for future and ongoing projects. Analyze the results of various email reputation systems to determine system health. Develop tools for automating new and existing integration tests. Maintain and extend the company’s data pipeline infrastructure. Watch for emerging trends in spam techniques and develop systems to combat them. Contribute to the company’s open source application development platform. Work with HTTP, real time, highly concurrent systems, JSON and RESTful web services. Utilize skills with object oriented programming, as well as knowledge of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques.
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering or an equivalent field.
Seven (7) years experience* with:
- C/C++ programming;
- Real-time, multi-process, multi-threaded systems;
- Large, scalable, distributed system;
- Low-level Linux operating system;
- Development/debugging of networking protocols and efficient application specific protocols on top of TCP/IP and UDP/IP.
*Experience concurrent with the above-referred-to industry experience.
